Our StoryI'm Nicco, the owner and coach at NV2. I started work as a painter and decorator, but once I found my passion for the right type of exercise, I knew I had to make a change. As a personal trainer, helping other people with their goals, I found a sense of fulfilment. So when I opened NV2, the mission statement was straightforward: help people to find something they love to do in their training.
Through this, we have found that there's no struggle for people with adhering to a plan. Or finding the motivation to train. People love it. They love the camaraderie of a group fitness class. They love the foods they eat and know how to lose weight or gain muscle based on what they've learned. They are empowered to upgrade to the best version of themselves they can be. |
Nicco ToughWhen I was in school, I was not a fan of PE. If you'd asked any of my teachers - or even me, back then, if I'd become a personal trainer and gym owner we'd have all laughed. I just hadn't found the right sort of exercise yet. Once I got interested in what I was doing (I tried kickboxing, resistance training, and endurance events) that all changed.
I liked having a sense of achievement and working towards something. I love the excitement of helping others work towards their goals and finding the type of training that they love. |
AshleyI participated in a lot of sport at school, but never thought of myself as a "sporty person". I was bigger than my friends, and not as successful. But I loved the social aspects of playing team sports.
I broadened my interest in working out after getting on a health kick to take care of a little bit of weight gain. I tried a couple of different things, HIIT DVDs, running, and I eventually joined a gym. I love how much there is to learn about fitness - I have some qualifications already - and how much it has to offer everyone! |
CaraHi, I’m Cara - dance lover, CrossFit enthusiast and fitness fanatic. Having always been involved in physical activity and exercise, and gaining an honours degree in Sport and Fitness, I knew this was the perfect industry of work for me. Not only is there the opportunity to continuously learn new things, but also to pass my knowledge and help others on their fitness journey.
I love being able to create relationships and work closely with people, see them grow in both ability and confidence, and be there to support them every step of the way. |
LisaMy name is Lisa and I am a GP based in the Black Isle. My evolving personal yoga journey continues to guide my balance of work and finding peace in life.
Taking time to value our minds and body offers opportunity for fulfilment and healing. Through teaching yoga, I wholeheartedly hope to empower others to accept their limitations and embrace self-honour. I have the privilege of being a yoga student taught by Julie Smeaton, Lauren Anderson (previously Bryden), Helen Gillespie and Demelza Feltham. I completed my 200 hour YTT through Mudra Yoga, Edinburgh. During this training I felt compelled to share this precious learning in hope it infuses positivity in others lives. Creating a soothing, safe community space that inspires and rejuvenates, whilst strengthening the connection of body, breath and mind is my intention. Welcome - regardless of what invites you. Live in the moment. |
Our Philosophy
We help regular people achieve incredible things with their bodies. Our philosophy at NV2 is simple: there's a type of training that's right for everyone, and we can help you find yours. Your time in the gym should be enjoyable, allow you to make progress on your goals and should fit into the broader landscape of your life.
We all want to feel comfortable in our bodies and confident that what we're doing in the gym and the kitchen is the right thing for us. Training and nutrition should support these goals, not leave you feeling confused about what you should be doing in the gym, or wondering about detoxing or fad diets.
|
We cater to both men and women that want to improve their body composition and perform better. We help them to understand their training and nutrition by giving them clear advice, so they know what to do next.
