OUR COVID-19 RESPONSE
At NV2 your wellbeing is our priority. We’ve got high standards of cleanliness but with COVID-19 we’ve upped our game (both before the gym shut and for when it opens after) to ensure our gym is as safe as it can be.
On the lead up to the COVID-19 Shutdown
On the lead up to the COVID-19 Shutdown
- Limited the group training classes attendees
- Sterilised the equipment between sessions, both members and coaches
- Mandatory hand washes on entering the gym
- End of day sterilising of the gym
- We closed on our own accord after deeming it irresponsible to remain open
- Setup a complete online training and education service for our members providing; workouts (live and recorded), external guests who are profressionals talking about various subjects including mental health, cooking, training and more.
- Coaches continue with CPD courses to improve their skillset to come back more experienced
- Completed our To-Do lists of jobs to be done to improve our service
- Painted the gym
Pre-Opening after lockdown (what we are working on currently that will keep our gym safe and operational on the return when it is announced we can do)
- Hand Sanitiser and cleaning stations installed
- New storage installed
- Gym layout changed to improve social distancing
- Training programs altered to account for social distancing
- More equipment ordered to reduce equipment sharing
Post COVID-19
- Mandatory hand sanitising upon entry and exit of the gym
- Mandatory wipe down of equipment used by clients
- Wipe down of equipment from coaches between sessions
- Afternoon and evening surface, equipment and floor cleans
- 2 x weekly standard cleans and sanitisation
- 1 x monthly deep cleans
- Group classes to be taken outside with 1-2 pieces of equipment to be used by 1 person only
- 100sq/ft of space per person
- Every coach and member is fully briefed on correct practices
